“Letters on Landscape” is a self iniciated project. In this visual essay the starting point was an industrial machine abandoned Portuguese countryside. This piece of junk near the road was read as a gigantic lowercase “a” by us. On this basis, the whole uppercase alphabet was created, as well as punctuation signs. The letterforms were based on the two-dimensional font “Ordinaire”, designed by David Poullard.
